Nice! Interesting mix of genres that works pretty well. Good luck in the competition :)

Thank you! Yeah that is what I wanted, mix of odd styles and genres mixed together in a very epic dark/raising track!
I wouldn't really call it synthwave, I wouldn't call it bad though. I really like it but you need to work a whole lot more on your mixing. There are a lot of things too quiet or too loud in the mix.
Yes already working on something :D
this is awesome, I really love the landscape of the intro, when it hits it feels so full and rich. The trumpet is so good here. just not too big of a fan past 3:10 especially during that breakdown that high pitch kills me. The glitching half I feel just did the first half an injustice. But I know that is just a personal preference thing.
yes it certainly is an acquired taste ^^; thanks for the review
Don't sell yourself short! this is a great piece. I normally don't like ambient, but this is something a bit different. It might not have an overt dance-like melody but it has an overarching melody/theme that is just awesome!
Best of luck B0nn0t :)
Thanks, :) good luck to you too.
Look like I'm gonna bomb this NGADM again. Not a fan of contest, reluctantly enter for exposure. IMO, contest hampers my creativity.
Took inspirations from various artists, mainly Venetian Snares, Hidden Orchestra, Nujabes, Stefan Torto, aMUSiC and Leviathan
I like the dissonance from that drone synth. Not a fan of the instrument that comes in around :50 it's got a wicked vibe. The synth at 1:44 adds in some unpleasant dissonance unfortunately. It is pretty repetitive though, try switching up the beat a bit and add some variety.
I like it, it has a bit of a bounce and it's very chill. The ending is a little spooky with that choir!
Thank you!
Niiice I love this. Sexy chords :)
I love the chords, but honestly the melody just sounds like random notes. There is some obvious structure to it but no melodic journey. I would probably bump the bpm up a bit too (depending on where you take the melody) unless the anime is going to have a sad/contemplative theme. I also agree with @Aleysis that there needs to be something alongside the piano. Some celli would add a lot to this.
It does? I used arp for the melody so it should sound very structured? O.O
