Love it, really cool industrial track.

Try widening the sound more, right it's almost all down the center.

Love the end.

Really chill. The melody is very repetitive though, you keep changing octaves but there is no real variation. I would like to see that change cause otherwise it's got a great sound. You could also do with some stereo enhancement, the song sounds really confined. Really interesting end!

It's hard to tell from the beginning that it's gonna be riddim, I love it.

The genre is repetitive so the trick is repeating stuff that sounds good. I think you pretty much nailed that. You also were able to give the song an actual melody instead of just being all wub no love. The mix is legit, I think you may have just turned me into a riddim fan.
This gets a rare 5/5 from me.

Thanks so much for the awesome comment! I’m glad you enjoyed it! :)

You are getting a little better at transitions! I'm not sure if I like the discord too much, though in the beginning it almost works oddly, due to how it is embraced. Nice job on the end with the reverb! Keep up the good work!

Response: Haha, well tbh I lean heavily on the faces tankman makes when you hover over the stars haha.

MichaelConstanza responds:

Oh i wonder when you will give anything BUT 3 1/2 stars XD . Thanks for the feedback . Took me a while to make so it helps a lot

Nice song! that first transition is pretty rough but I like what you've made. Ending could be better, instead of just cutting out. I'm glad my song was able to inspire ya. :)

Nice, though it does feel like 3 different songs the way you have it laid out. I can see what you were trying to do. Your mixing is much much better than the last! your lead is leading the song, and the background elements are supporting it.

I do feel like the build up in your intro was a bit too long, I'd probably almost halve what you have, starting from :30. 1:22 is a weird spot for your percussion. I'm not a big fan of the drop sound you use at the end of each section and the one at :15. 1:30 works and would be great if you reversed it going to the next section.

I think you did very well with this one!

MichaelConstanza responds:

First , 1:22 bugged out on me . Second i couldn't find a way to end each section properly . Third , i was trying to combine a mix of songs and as i said i couldn't find anything other than the drop sound to use in the song due to my inexperience . The song build up in the beginning is meant to be like that to set an atmosphere at the start . Plus the song would be a thousand times better if it didn't glitch and delete half the stuff

Definitely sounds like an anticipation of action song. It's repetitive but I think for what you are trying to achieve here I think it works. I feel like you could widen the song a bit more, that bass and arp are to centered. I think you could do with lowering the volume on the bass and saturating it, and brightening the song a bit.

I would LOVE to hear the song continue into a "suspicious/caught" section and then an "action" section. The anticipation this piece lays down is too strong and leaves me wanting a payoff.

the beats don't make sense

Drum is a biiit too loud in the mix imo. You could do with a riser between :20-:40. Your transitions could do with a little more work instead of so many full breakdowns with that white noise. I typically would suggest at max 2 full breakdowns. The track is pretty consistent. 3:43 things really start to clash, there are too many things going on, or you could fix it with some better mixing.

Overall really nice house/dance/trance trance for your first song. This is waaay better than my first song lmao so great job! Your next step should be designing your own loops and working on mixing (getting your volume levels appropriate for each sound). Keep it up!

Honestly not feeling the panning too much, feels too heavy on the right. It makes me think of sonic lol. Oh... I just looked at the title and tags, well you did very well and faithful to the original then.

I feel like you could do with some reverb to help fill it up a little more and make it feel a bit dreamy as well, a little flanging or phasing would go a long way too. You could increase the release and add vibrato to the synth for something similar if you don't want to use effects.

Awesome job!

Great Progressive DnB Trance! I love all the different ways the song goes, flowing together very well! Really great intro followed with such a smooth transition into the bass section. 1:09, I really love the binaural effect that starts from here.

That breakdown is just cruel, and c'mon just drop it already xD. Makes it so satisfying by 3:30 when that phat bass comes in. My only thing is I wish it came in harder.
